VI.TA.MU.NS stands for video, tag-a-long, music & not specified. Under these four genres, supplemental contributions to TORSO! can be made. While these contributions will not be published in any bi-monthly issue of TORSO!, they will be made immediately available through http://torso-magazine.blogspot.com/ upon peer approval. When a TORSO! annual is released, a multimedia collection of VI.TA.MU.NS will be released alongside it.
Videos can be anything from home movies of lawn mowing to feature length films on the metabolism of cats.
Music can be as diverse as a dialogue on the smells of other planets or a professionally recorded accordion solo. Really, anything goes.
Tag-a-longs and the ambiguous "not specified" category require a bit more explanation.
Tag-a-longs are tags reserved for specific TORSO! article supplements. For instance, a video corresponding to an article on how to make a boxcar racer will be listed under video with a tag-a-long notification. Think of tag-a-longs as acute supplements/vitamins (VI.TA.MU.NS) to articles of further interest in TORSO!
"Not specified.". . . Well, I guess that says it. NS contributions can be anything from fan art to an overheard quote to a stand-alone piece of artwork you would rather expose via VI.TA.MU.NS. Anything flies here, so as long as you can rationalize it, feel free to submit it.
